Ewelina Borkowska

Ewelina Borkowska is a Polish singer-songwriter based in the UK.

On December 21st, 2021, Ewelina released her debut solo album, ‘Set In Stone.’ This album falls within the pop/rock genre and consists of 11 tracks, with the most notable ones being ‘Scattered Dreams,’ ‘Fear,’ and ‘Imagine.’ The majority of the lyrics are in English; however, the track ‘Nierealny Swiat’ is written in Polish.

The main message of the music she creates is courage and belief in one’s own abilities,as well as the emotions she has struggled with. Through her music, she aims to inspire others who grapple with insecurities and live under the constant pressure of striving for perfection.

“I always had big dreams of writing songs and singing them on a big stage, but I didn’t believe I was good enough to do it. During the Covid-19 pandemic, I realized how precious our time is, so I decided to seize the opportunity and finally pursue my dreams. From that moment on, I put all my cards on my passion, despite the immense fear I felt at the time. Today, I am very proud of what I have achieved so far, and I thank God for placing so many wonderful, talented people in my path.”

A few months after the release of her debut album “Set In Stone,” she was nominated in 8 categories for the international ISSA awards. She won the ISSA Silver Award for International Songwriter of the Year (ISSA Award 2022, Atlanta, USA), and later won the “Personality of the Year” award in the Culture category for her hometown of Siedlce (Poland). In 2023, she was nominated for ISSA awards again in 6 categories and won the ISSA Bronze Award for International Single of the Year for the song “I’m Not Jealous”.

Currently, Ewelina is working on her next album, which will be released in 2024. This album addresses the theme of self-acceptance in relationships. She has already released five singles: “Warrior,” dedicated to victims of emotional violence; “I’m Not Jealous,” dedicated to anyone who has ever been betrayed; “Crown,” an inspirational song about self-worth and self-esteem; “Gdzie To Szczęście?” dedicated to her Polish fans; and her latest track, “Voices – Nashville Version,” which was created in collaboration with award-winning Nashville songwriter Tony Olson. Tony was one of the judges at the ISSA awards, and when he heard her original song “Voices,” he decided to create a new version of the song with her. He enlisted world-class Nashville musicians: Jon Conley (Kenny Chesney), Gregg Lohman (Easton Corbin), Jay Gorman (Easton Corbin), Drew Belk (Blake Shelton), Philip de Steiguer (Blake Shelton), Kaci Bolls, and Dave Demay, and together they created a new version of the song that received a very positive response from radio stations even before its official release on streaming platforms.

Her songs are currently being played on radio stations in the USA, Australia, New Zealand, Belgium, the Netherlands, Ireland, Scotland, England, and Poland. “Breaking These Walls” made it onto the “Polish Chart” of Radio Wnet, “Voices” reached number one on IAM4U radio in the UK, and “Warrior” became number one on Banks Radio Australia.

“We’ve come a long way, and I know there’s still along road ahead, but now I try to focus more on the journey itself than the final destination. I just want to uplift and inspire others through my music.”
